When I started RC Detail nine years ago, it was just me, a garage, and a dream. I had no storefront, no team – just the belief that my customer service, detailing knowledge, and love for cars could turn into something bigger. From the beginning, I focused not only on delivering high-quality work, but on cultivating relationships with our great local community and fellow business owners. I hoped that if I treated every vehicle like it was my own and every customer like family, I’d build more than a business – I’d build trust.
The Evolution
What started as basic washes and interior cleanings has transformed into full-scale detailing, ceramic coatings, paint correction, and convenient shuttle services. We’ve stayed on top of the latest tools, products, and techniques – constantly learning, investing, and adapting so we can offer the absolute best.
In August of 2018, we opened our first official location in Wasilla, and our team began to grow. As demand continued to rise and our community support expanded, we proudly opened our second location in Palmer in February of 2025. These milestones have helped us serve more customers while staying true to our commitment to quality and connection.
We’ve added things like:

The Why Behind What We Do
Alaska is hard on vehicles. Between gravel roads, long winters, and unpredictable weather, your ride takes a beating. But we believe your car should still look and feel incredible – whether it’s a daily commuter, a weekend toy, or a fully restored classic.
RC Detail exists because vehicle care shouldn’t be one-size-fits-all. It should be personal. It should be done right. And it should be something you’re proud of.
The Community That Built Us
We wouldn’t be where we are today without the incredible support from the Mat-Su Valley. From the beginning, we’ve made it a priority to stay involved – supporting local events, networking with other small businesses, and volunteering whenever we can. This community has believed in us, and we work hard every day to return that trust.
